FeetInNeed – Client Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 5th June 2025
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before confirming your booking with FeetInNeed. By proceeding with a booking, you confirm your agreement to these Terms.
1. Who We Are
FeetInNeed ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-based digital platform that connects clients seeking mobile foot health services with independent Foot Health Practitioners (FHPs) and Chiropodists/Podiatrists ("Practitioners"). Our role is to facilitate the discovery, booking, and secure payment of services, and to validate that Practitioners listed on our platform:
Hold valid UK foot health or podiatry qualifications;
Have an active Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
FeetInNeed is not the employer of the Practitioners and does not provide foot health or medical services directly.
2. Your Relationship with the Practitioner
By making a booking via the FeetInNeed platform, you are entering into a direct agreement with the Practitioner for the delivery of foot care services. Practitioners are self-employed and operate independently of FeetInNeed.
Any clinical outcomes, service quality, professional conduct, or follow-up care are solely the responsibility of the Practitioner who provides the service. While FeetInNeed seeks feedback and supports the resolution of client concerns, we are not liable for any acts, omissions, negligence, or injury arising from services rendered by a Practitioner.
3. Service Standards
We take reasonable steps to ensure that Practitioners meet basic professional and safeguarding standards prior to listing them on our platform, including:
Confirmation of identity and right to work in the UK;
Verification of qualifications related to foot health or podiatry;
Verification of an Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last 36 months.
However, we do not warrant, guarantee, or supervise the clinical methods or treatment outcomes of any Practitioner.
4. Payments and Cancellations
All payments are processed securely through the FeetInNeed platform. Bookings must be paid at least 48 hours in advance to confirm your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may not be eligible for a refund.
Please refer to our [Cancellation & Refund Policy] for further details.
5. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with the service you received, we recommend raising the matter directly with the Practitioner in the first instance. You may also contact FeetInNeed at admin@feetinneed.co.uk to notify us of your concerns. We may, at our discretion, investigate the matter and take appropriate action, including but not limited to suspending the Practitioner’s profile from our platform.
Important: Any legal claim or compensation request relating to the quality or outcome of a foot care service must be directed to the Practitioner, not to FeetInNeed.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
FeetInNeed shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from the acts or omissions of a Practitioner;
We do not accept liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss;
Our total liability to you under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific booking in question.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
7. Data Protection
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our [Privacy Policy], which complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
8. Amendments
FeetInNeed may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be displayed on the checkout page and apply to any new bookings made after the date of update.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
By proceeding with this booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
